Job Description:
Assists in development and inspection of complex rework and repair of deliverable subassemblies and large system level integrated platforms.
Approves production records for conformance to procedures.
Responsible for ensuring safety, reliability and hardware traceability for end-item systems and mission solutions through production quality oversight.
Collaborates with quality engineers in developing inspection requirements and techniques and implementing quality plans.
Assists in evaluating defect data to identify trends and collaborates with quality engineers to make recommendations on process improvements.
Certifies CIS' and assists intraining for product specific soldering operations.
Essential Functions:
Effectively communicate with employees in a professional manner.
Provide J-STD-001 Certification to operators.
Consult on solder issues for specific programs.
Ensure team members are properly trained for specific soldering operations.
Work closely with supervisors and engineering to develop efficient techniques to maximize throughput.
Actively participate in necessary meetings and serve as a resource in the resolution of problems and issues related to production.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Requires develping job knowledge/skills.
Requires High Schoool Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience of 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0-2 years of prior related experience.
Certified IPC J-STD-001 CIT In-depth solder experience Familiar with DCS Ability to read part prints Previous experience training others Ablity to get a Security Clearance if required Preferred Additional Skills:
X-Ray Operation Trained Radiation Trained Previous experience training others Recommended Skills Business Process Improvement Communication Reliability Safety Principles Soldering Welding Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
